My name is Anna Geraets. I have been practicing in private practice physiotherapy since I graduated from AUT in 2008. I have worked in New Zealand and Australia. I have practiced in my own physiotherapy clinic and Pilates studio in Newcastle from 2013 to 2019, when I returned to New Zealand with my family.
Pelvic and Women’s Health Physiotherapy
Pelvic Health is a very specific scope of Physiotherapy. It requires qualified physiotherapists to undertake further training in pelvic health, and specifically describes physiotherapists who have been trained in performing internal assessments in the aims of managing a variety of pelvic health concerns.
From endometriosis, continence and prolapse, or simply the appreciation of women’s life stages (pregnancy and menopause) and it’s impact on injury and recovery.
